Dear Colleagues,

With regards to the ongoing seminar for volunteers (11-12 February 2011, Sofia) on implementing programs for risk prevention among young people, in accordance to the "peer-to-peer" method, the Deputy Prime-Minister of Bulgaria and Chair of the National Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, will present certificates to the participants in the training on 12.02.2011 at 12.00, St. Sofia Hotel (18 Pirotska Street), Sofia Hall.

The event is organized by the National Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in partnership with Foundation "Partners Bulgaria" and the financial support of Foundation "Hans Zeidel". Mr. Bogdan Mirchev, Director of Foundation "Hans Zeidel", will be present at the event.

The topic of the training is "Risks and Dangers at Young Age" with a focus on "Prevention of Trafficking in Human Beings". The training will be conducted by volunteers at the Resource Center of Foundation "Partners Bulgaria" in Kyustendil - Daniel Lekov, Vassil Makedonski and Marta Paunova under the guidance of Mr. Georgy Bojilov – Godo.

The main goals of the seminar are to introduce the young people from Varna, Burgas, Sliven, Pazardjik and Montana to the main principles of volunteering as a value, way of thinking and a form of promoting civil participation.

The National Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Council of Ministers defines and manages the national policy and strategy in the field of human trafficking prevention. The National Commission works for combating the risks of trafficking as well as for protection and reintegration of the victims of human trafficking.
